Alexander “Alec” Morovitz is an associate at Munck Wilson Mandala, practicing in the firm’s technology/intellectual property law group. Alec focuses his practice in the areas of patent and trademark prosecution.
Alec prosecutes patent applications in a variety of technical areas, including computer hardware and software, medical devices, process control systems, and semiconductor devices and fabrications. Alec also represents clients in patent and trademark litigation matters.
Alec completed his J.D. at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he graduated cum laude, was associate managing editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, and president for the Intellectual Property Organization. He is a registered patent agent and holds a B.S. in biology, graduating cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Prior to his associate position at MWM, Alec externed for Federal Magistrate Judge Renee H. Toliver for the Northern District of Texas.
