Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add a Docketing Clerk to our team in the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-volume, high-energy, team-oriented environment in the Patent Docketing Department under the supervision of the Docketing Manager.  Patent docketing experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates with an interest in intellectual property will also be considered.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the IP Docketing Clerk position include but are not limited to the following:

Ideal Candidate Will:

– Be dependable, responsible, and punctual;
– Possess excellent written/oral communication, proofreading and organizational skills;
– Be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and have the knowledge and skills necessary to prioritize their workload independently from start to completion each day;
– Possess a positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills;
– Be proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and possess strong typing skills and have the ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs.


– Monitor and analyze various types of patent correspondence and docket reminders and deadlines in the firm’s docketing software (Anaqua);
– Open, monitor and maintain patent records in Anaqua by reviewing US and Foreign Patent databases;
– Manage various projects assigned by the Docketing Manager.
