Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add a litigation paralegal to its busy subrogation practice in its Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in a fast paced, high volume litigation practice with insurance defense, large property loss subrogation, or plaintiff’s experience strongly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for intake and case management of all property subrogation claims, providing exceptional client service
- Facilitate and coordinate all logistics during negotiations, mediations arbitrations, trials and/or settlements
- Draft and e-file motions, pleadings, summons, complaints, subpoenas, etc.
- Monitor case status tracking updates, due dates and appearances, providing regular updates to both Attorneys and Clients
- Assist with discovery including gathering evidence, obtaining contracts and performing legal and factual research
- Assist with document production including organizing documents, creating and maintaining privilege logs, performing bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents and maintaining exhibits
- Maintain regular communication with and roster of insurance claims representatives, forensic consultants, adjusters, investigators and experts
- Attend client meetings, court appearances and depositions, digesting and drafting concise and accurate summaries
- Perform general administrative duties as needed to ensure effective and efficient case progress
