Pharra McDonald is a litigation staff attorney working in MWM’s South Austin Office. Pharra handles credit union and firm collection cases, among other litigation matters. Her unique legal background includes working as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted more than twenty-six jury trials and one bench trial.

Prior to joining MWM, Pharra worked as senior staff counsel for Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company where she litigated property and personal injury disputes. Pharra is skilled in negotiation, mediation, depositions, and case management. She received her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she participated on the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, was a member of the Student Bar Association, and received two American Jurisprudence Awards. She earned her bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society, the Student Government Association, and the debate team.
