Dallas, TX, Oct. 3, 2017 —– Munck Wilson Mandala partner Jamil Alibhai has been elected to the board of directors of Make-A-Wish® North Texas, one of the largest and most successful Make-A-Wish® chapters in the country. The Make-A-Wish® Foundation grants the wishes of children with critical illnesses and has granted nearly 10,000 wishes in North Texas since 1982.

Alibhai is the chair of Munck Wilson Mandala’s complex litigation/dispute resolution practice and he serves on the firm’s executive committee. As the head of litigation, Alibhai oversees an impressive team of skilled litigators with a high track record of successful jury verdicts, including a $10.1 million verdict in a recent patent infringement law suit against an international electronic game company. Among his peers, Alibhai is consistently honored as a Texas Super Lawyer in commercial litigation. In 2015, he was named a Winning Litigator by National Law Journal for his work on a patent infringement and stolen trade secret case that ranked as the 16th largest verdict in the nation. In addition to his leadership roles at Munck Wilson Mandala, Alibhai is a graduate of Leadership Dallas, the Dallas Regional Chamber’s leadership development program, which grooms diverse leaders to bring positive impact to the North Texas region. Alibhai received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
