Dr. Changhoi Koo Joins the Firm

DALLAS – Dallas-based technology law firm, Munck Wilson Mandala, announces the addition of Dr. Changhoi Koo to the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group.
“Dr. Koo brings extensive experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts, particularly in wireless communication and core network technologies,” said William A. Munck, Managing Partner of Munck Wilson Mandala. “He has several years of highly recognized experience in patent procurement and licensing, along with technical knowledge on the system development, research, standardization, and system engineering and architecture in various mobile broadband communication systems. He will be a knowledgeable and effective member of our team.”
Dr. Koo earned his Ph.D. from Kwangwoon University’s Department of Electronics Communication Engineering in Seoul, Korea, following receipt of his Masters and Bachelor in Engineering degrees, respectively. Dr. Koo has provided more than 250 contributions for the standard meeting committees and is a named inventor on over 100 granted patents, along with authoring numerous international conference and journal papers. Dr. Koo’s career included his tenure as a Senior Staff Engineer while at Samsung Electronics Korea, as well as a Principal Engineer and Director at Samsung Research America.
