Munck Wilson Mandala has added principal attorney Daniel Abrahamson to the firm’s litigation practice in the South Austin Office. Abrahamson brings 10 years of legal experience ranging from prosecuting criminal cases to representing state agencies as assistant attorney general in the Texas Attorney General’s office.

Abrahamson began his legal career as a federal law clerk in the Northern District of Texas, gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases ranging from IP disputes to securities litigation. He then joined the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, working in the Misdemeanor, Felony, and Appellate Divisions, where he conducted dozens of jury trials and led oral arguments before the Court of Appeals.

Rounding out his legal experience, he then served in the General Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, specializing in employment and regulatory cases.

Abrahamson received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Rice University. Outside of his legal work, he’s enrolled in Java courses at Code Academy and recently bowled a 265.
