Marco Robertson is an associate practicing in the firm’s corporate and transactional group. Marco focuses his practice on corporate matters, sports & entertainment law, securities law, and negotiations.
Marco graduated from Tulane University Law School where he received his J.D. cum laude and the Dean’s Medal for having the highest GPA in the third year of law school. While in New Orleans, Marco founded the Tulane Texas Law Society, was a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and held the position as head coach for the Tulane Men’s Lacrosse team.
Marco earned his Bachelor of Arts in honors communications with a minor in business from Texas A&M University, where he graduated cum laude. While in College Station, he was the captain of the Texas A&M Men’s Lacrosse team, served as the housing manager for the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, and was a member of the communications honor society Lambda Pi Eta.
Marco was a previous summer associate at MWM, and he worked as a legal extern for the U.S. Coast Guard in New Orleans, where he reviewed internal investigations, drafted ethics and conflict of interest opinions, and researched the effects of Supreme Court opinions on the application of administrative law. Marco has also worked as a legal assistant in Barcelona, where he focused on international business and immigration law, and served as a translator between English speaking clients and Spanish speaking attorneys. Marco is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
