Munck Wilson Mandala is currently seeking an experienced IP/patent legal assistant for its Dallas office to support as many as three patent prosecution attorneys. Accounting Clerk

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare general ledger postings and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

Trademark Paralegal

Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add an experienced trademark and copyright practice paralegal in the Dallas office. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • At least five years of experience with trademark and copyright law
  • Experience with intellectual property agreements, UDRP actions, TTAB proceedings, and matters related to the use of trademarks on social media platforms is required
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Subrogation Litigation Legal Assistant

Munck Wilson Mandala is currently seeking a subrogation litigation legal assistant for its Dallas office to support as many as four busy attorneys and/or paralegals in a highly collaborative working environment. IP Legal Assistant

Our Firm is currently in the process of recruiting an IP Legal Assistant. This position will provide support in our IP Patent and Prosecution Practice for as many as four busy attorneys and/or paralegals in a highly collaborative working environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing, finalizing and filing documents in US Patent Office in US provisional, utility, design and PCT applications (i.e., transmittals, declarations, power of attorneys, assignments, transmittals, extension of time, information disclosure statements, maintenance fee payments, etc).
  • Preparing and finalizing client correspondence; maintaining attorney docket for both US and foreign patent matters.
  • Candidate will have Patent Prosecution experience which preferably includes ThomsonReuter IP Manager docketing software.
  • Handle administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information.

Experience & Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years legal assistant experience, including at least 3 years of IP Patent Prosecution experience in a mid-large sized firm; and be proficient in legal assistant and administrative tasks including, but not limited to: document preparation, time entry, expense reimbursement, telephone contact, travel arrangements, and calendar maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, high energy environment.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to provide excellent client/customer service.

Litigation Paralegal

Our Firm is currently in the process of recruiting an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This position will provide support for busy litigation attorneys in a highly collaborative working environment. Primary Responsibilities
  • Draft correspondence to potential targets, attorneys, courts, third parties, etc.
  • Draft and file pleadings.
  • Docketing daily Trial schedules and deadlines.
  • Prepare initial drafts of discovery to propound and discovery responses.
  • Manual and electronic document reviews.
  • Prepare hearing, deposition, mediation and trial notebooks and exhibits.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Maintain deadlines calendar.
  • Schedule meditations, depositions, schedule court reporters/videographer, conference calls, etc.
  • File and serve pleadings.

Experience & Qualifications
