IP Docket Clerk

This position will provide support to our IP Patent and Prosecution Practice and Trademark practice area and support a highly collaborative working environment. Primary responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze correspondence and response deadlines • Daily docketing of patents and trademarks including entering events into electronic docketing system database and computing dates; experience which preferably includes ThomsonReuter IP Manager and or Anaqua docketing software. • Clean-up and maintain docketing database, including quality review of docket updates and resolving docketing inaccuracies to ensure accurate docketing of information • Prepare and distribute docket reports and customized queries Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of Patent docketing experience • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and good follow up skills • Must take initiative and be a self-starter • Excellent time management skills We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Litigation Legal Assistant

Must exhibit strong typing skills and have the ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. • Candidate should have experience with e-filing, Trial Preparation, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities and Legal Research. • Available for some overtime is required. • Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication, strong proofreading and organizational skills. Intellectual Property - Legal Assistant

Our Firm is currently in the process of recruiting an IP Legal Assistant. This position will provide support in our IP Patent and Prosecution Practice for as many as four busy attorneys and/or paralegals in a highly collaborative working environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing, finalizing and filing documents in US Patent Office in US provisional, utility, design and PCT applications (i.e., transmittals, declarations, power of attorneys, assignments, transmittals, extension of time, information disclosure statements, maintenance fee payments, etc).
  • Preparing and finalizing client correspondence; maintaining attorney docket for both US and foreign patent matters.
  • Candidate will have Patent Prosecution experience which preferably includes ThomsonReuter IP Manager docketing software.
  • Handle administrative confidential/sensitive Firm and/or client information.
