Munck Wilson Mandala lawyer shares patent prosecution insights

DALLAS – Attorney Michael Rodriguez of the Dallas-based technology law firm, Munck Wilson Mandala, LLP, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming 52nd Annual Conference on Intellectual Property Law at The Center for American and International Law (CAIL) in Plano, Texas.

Mr. Rodriguez will lead a discussion on “Patent Prosecution Best Practices,” which will include an examination of foreign patent application processes, as well as strategies for dealing with Rule 101 rejections by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

This year’s conference is co-chaired by Dallas attorney Marc A. Hubbard of Hubbard Law, PLLC, and David O. Taylor, Assistant Professor at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

In addition to Mr. Rodriguez, other conference speakers include USPTO Chief of Staff Andrew C. Byrnes, Judge Roy Payne of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
