Munck Wilson Mandala congratulated five partners who were selected among D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas for 2019. The MWM attorneys honored were William Munck, Jenny Martinez, Jamil Alibhai, Audrey Mross, and Michael McCabe.
Munck is the managing partner of MWM, a member of the executive committee, and he chairs the firm’s intellectual property practice. He has led MWM since the late 90s and grown the firm from six lawyers to 70 lawyers with three offices in Texas—Dallas, Austin, Marshall, and a Los Angeles office. Munck received his J.D. with honors from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he is listed among the law school’s distinguished alumni. He holds a B.S. in computer science, majoring in electrical engineering and mathematics, and an M.S. in computer science with honors from Hofstra University.
Martinez is a senior partner in MWM’s complex litigation/dispute resolution practice. She is a trial attorney with a versatile practice that includes working as a key member on the employment litigation team. She received her J.D., graduating cum laude, from Southern Methodist University School of Law where she also received her B.A. in political science graduating magna cum laude.
Alibhai is a member of MWM’s executive committee, and he chairs the complex litigation/dispute resolution practice. Alibhai leads a team of litigators who represent clients in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation cases and appeals in state and federal courts nationwide. He received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and he earned his B.A. in economics and political science from New York University.
Mross co-chairs MWM’s employment and labor practice with a focus on advice and counsel on employment matters for clients. She has given over 600 speeches and training sessions to employers throughout Texas and she writes an employment newsletter called Legal Briefs for HR. Mross received her J.D. with honors from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and her B.S. in marketing from Kansas State University.
McCabe is a member of MWM’s executive committee, one of the firm’s leading trial lawyers, and he co-chairs MWM’s employment and labor practice with a focus on employment law litigation. He is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in labor and employment law. McCabe received his J.D., graduating cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law and he earned his B.A. in psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans.
