Munck Wilson Mandala is currently seeking a litigation legal assistant for its growing Los Angeles office located in the heart of Century City to effectively support as many as four busy attorneys and/or paralegals in a highly collaborative working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of litigation legal assistant or secretarial experience with significant exposure to complex commercial, intellectual property, real estate and/or labor and employment litigation in a mid to large-sized law firm.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, finalizing and filing documents (i.e., declarations, power of attorneys, assignments, transmittals, extensions of time, information disclosure statements, etc.)
  • Preparing and finalizing client correspondence; maintaining attorney docket
  • Handling legal assistant and administrative tasks including document preparation, time entry, expense reimbursement, telephone contact, travel arrangements and calendar maintenance
  • Handling administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information and providing excellent client service

Qualified candidates must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, iManage, e-filing, styles and brief formatting.  Candidate should have experience with federal and state e-filing, trial preparation, Table of Contents, and Table of Authorities. Munck Wilson Mandala is seeking a file clerk for its growing Los Angeles office located in the heart of Century City. This is an administrative support position with multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work day-to-day in-office at the direction of legal assistants and paralegals and will report to the HR Manager.

Job Duties will include the following:

Scanning & Saving Documents

  • Save court filings that are received electronically in correct matter number and folder in iManage with file names in accordance with MWM uniform naming conventions.
  • Scan paper documents and save in correct matter number and folder in iManage (or other location as directed) in accordance with MWM uniform naming conventions.

Legal Assistant Support

Provide general administrative support and assistance to Legal Assistants as directed, including:

  • Making copies and scanning files.
  • Preparing binders for closings, hearings, trials, etc.
  • Basic drafting and editing of Documents, Spreadsheets, and Slide Decks.

Paralegal Support

Provide general administrative support and assistance to Paralegals as directed, including:

  • Making copies and scanning files.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered tools and internal automations for attorneys and staff.
  • Build and integrate applications using APIs from OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or similar platforms.
  • Translate workflow problems into technical solutions through programming and systems integration.
  • Configure and maintain cloud resources, authentication, and deployment pipelines.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and present recommendations based on firm applicability.
  • Train users on adopted technologies and maintain technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and client-security requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of hands-on software development or DevOps experience.

  • Experience deploying applications in Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud environments.
