Beckmen, a seasoned legal advisor with nearly two decades of experience across finance, gaming, technology, and energy, joins the firm’s headquarters in Uptown Dallas.
Beckmen’s arrival brings a powerhouse combination of legal acumen and real-world business insight. From negotiating high-stakes oil and gas transactions to guiding digital entertainment ventures, his breadth of experience will bolster the firm’s capabilities in key growth sectors.

Beckmen’s diverse background includes a stint as chief legal officer of SimWin Sports, the world’s first digital sports league, where he oversaw compliance, business operations, and regulatory affairs. He has also represented clients in the fast-evolving spaces of sports betting, igaming, and blockchain, along with advising private equity funds, investment banks, and major film studios.

Prior to joining Munck Wilson Mandala, Beckmen served as counsel at Spencer Fane in Plano. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and holds a B.A. in government from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, the Association for Corporate Growth, and other legal and industry organizations. He also serves on the board of ClearRefining Technologies, a privately held clean fuel technology company based in Reno, Nevada.
