Munck Wilson Mandala is proud to announce the firm’s newly promoted partners Aaron Dilbeck, Patrick Whitaker and Brent Lehman who were unanimously elected to accept partnership effective Jan. 1, 2024. Dilbeck, Whitaker and Lehman are members of the firm’s award-winning litigation practice.

“Aaron, Patrick, and Brent are three of the hardest working attorneys in our firm and I am pleased to see their commitment and focus lead to this next phase of their legal careers,” said William A. Munck, MWM’s managing partner.  “Each attorney brings unique talent to critical areas of our litigation team. We are looking forward to working with them as they transition into partners in 2024 and bring fresh perspectives and innovation to our client services.”

Dilbeck is a Dallas based attorney in MWM’s complex litigation/dispute resolution group. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes for national and international clients and advocates for clients in federal and state courts across the country.

Following his graduation with honors from Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law, Dilbeck joined MWM in 2016. Prior to law school, Dilbeck worked as a ceramics engineer and is listed as an inventor on multiple patents.

Whitaker is a member of the litigation and large loss property subrogation groups in MWM’s Dallas Office, representing clients across the country involving property damage, construction defects, breach of contract, and general negligence matters. Additionally, he is a member of the team that is co-lead counsel for the subrogation industry in the multi-district litigation matter as a result of Winter Storm Uri that impacted the State of Texas in February 2021.

Whitaker joined MWM as an associate in 2014 and earned his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law, formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law. He was also included in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Lehman is based in MWM’s Los Angeles office where he focuses his practice on litigation matters within the entertainment industry and emerging technology. Recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Thomson Reuters, he is also licensed to practice in Washington D.C.

Before joining MWM in 2022, Lehman worked as a litigator at several boutique law firms in the greater Los Angeles region. He received his J.D. from Case Western University School of Law in Ohio.

“We are fortunate to add these three talented attorneys to our list of partners,” said Mike Wilson, co-chair of MWM’s patent litigation practice. “We have been continuously impressed by their work and look forward to what the future holds for each of them.”
