Munck Wilson Mandala added Stacy Grace and Tasha Schwikert to the firm’s corporate practice as new associates. Grace brings more than 10 years of combined business and legal experience in the financial services industry, representing clients in connection with private securities offerings and on compliance and investor relations matters, as well as assisting with real estate transactions and providing legal counsel on general corporate governance.

Schwikert brings four years of legal experience in corporate, real estate, and construction matters, representing clients in construction agreements, AIA agreements, real estate transactions, and general corporate matters.  She was a Bronze medal Olympian in gymnastics and worked as a commentator, coach, speaker, and sports agent before pursuing her legal career.

Grace’s legal career includes working in-house at a prominent real estate investment firm as legal counsel and compliance officer before transitioning into private practice at a law firm in Richmond, Virginia.  She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Virginia, and she received her J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law.  Grace holds a B.S. in integrated marketing communications from Abilene Christian University and an M.B.A. from Norwich University.

As a former Olympic gymnast, Schwikert became an advocate for institutional change within USA Gymnastics and the United States Olympic Committee.  Her passion motivated her to attend law school in her late 20s and she now serves as co-chair of the special committee for over 500 Larry Nassar survivors. In May 2019, she was instrumental in the effort to extend the Texas statute of limitations for child sexual abuse victims as a result of her testimony before the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee. Schwikert received her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law.  She holds a B.A. in sociology from the University of California Los Angeles where she competed on the UCLA gymnastics team on a full scholarship.

Both Grace and Schwikert will support MWM’s corporate transactions and securities team, advising clients on entity formation and structure, securities matters (including private securities offerings), corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, technology transactions, and real estate transactions (including financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and leasing).
