Abdullah Khalil is an associate in the firm’s litigation and emplyoment practices. He supports clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and discovery through motion practice, trial preparation, and post-judgment proceedings.

Clients value Abdullah’s disciplined and detail-oriented approach to litigatition.  He is known for his responsiveness, precision in drafting, and steady support of trial teams in high-stakes disputes across multiple forums.

As a former federal law clerk to a United States bankruptcy judge, Abdullah also possesses substantial bankruptcy and creditor rights experience. 

Abdullah earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, graduating summa cum laude. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.

Outside of his practice, Abdullah enjoys hiking, Arabic cooking, and the sound of waves.

  • Drafted answers, replies, initial disclosures, written discovery, motions to compel, deposition outlines, jury instructions, and proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation matters.
  • Supported pre-trial and trial representation of a chapter 7 trustee seeking over $100 million in recovery in a bankruptcy adversary proceeding.
  • Represent employers in federal and state courts in disputes brought by former employees alleging discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.
