Tanaz is a senior associate in the firm’s litigation group. She advises clients on copyright, trademark, and transactional matters and has deep experience in complex IP litigation and sophisticated entertainment deals. Tanaz has assisted internationally renowned recording artists and represented songwriters in high-stakes litigation. She also contributed to an amicus brief on behalf of a major trade organization.

With a focus on pragmatic solutions, Tanaz helps both creators and businesses protect, monetize, and resolve issues around their intellectual property. As a copyright aficionado, Tanaz is an active member of the Los Angeles Copyright Society, the Copyright Alliance, the Copyright Society of the USA, and the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers. She is also a supporter of Songwriters of North America, advocating for the interests of music creators.

Tanaz earned her JD from Loyola Law School in 2020, and a BA from York University in 2005.
