Jake prepares and prosecutes domestic and international patent applications in a variety of technical areas including electrical circuitry, semiconductor devices, telecommunication systems, software applications, and aircraft components.
Jacob (Jake) L. LaCombe is a partner in the intellectual property group. Jake focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation, and IP licensing. Jake prepares and prosecutes domestic and international patent applications in a variety of technical areas including electrical circuitry, semiconductor devices, telecommunication systems, software applications, computer architecture, building automation, control systems, medical devices, oilfield production and exploration equipment, and aircraft components.
In addition to his transactional practice, Jake also represents clients in patent litigation matters covering a variety of technical areas and he works with start-up companies, counseling them on the identification, protection, development, and monetization of their IP.
