Munck Wilson Mandala proudly congratulates five Dallas partners who have been recognized among the 2027 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America, a prestigious guide honoring the nation’s leading courtroom advocates.
The MWM attorneys recognized are Chase Cobern, Shain Khoshbin, Michael McCabe, William A. Munck, and Michael Wilson. Their collective recognition reflects the firm’s deep bench of trial lawyers who handle complex, high-stakes disputes involving intellectual property, technology, trade secrets, employment, and other critical business disputes.
Cobern chairs the firm’s appellate litigation practice. He is a trial and appellate lawyer who handles high-stakes litigation across federal and state courts, including matters involving patent infringement, trade secrets, commercial disputes, securities, employment, and constitutional issues. He has presented oral arguments before the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal, Fifth and Ninth Circuits, the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board and appellate courts throughout Texas.
Khoshbin is co-chair of MWM’s high-stakes litigation practice. He is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than three decades of experience handling complex business disputes and high-stakes litigation. His practice encompasses commercial litigation, business breakups and partnership disputes, securities litigation, trade secrets and unfair competition, corporate governance disputes, hospitality matters and other sophisticated business controversies. He represents clients on both sides of the docket and is known for his aggressive, creative approach to difficult disputes.
McCabe is co-chair of MWM’s litigation and employment and labor practices and focuses his practice on complex commercial, employment and technology-related litigation. He has served as lead counsel in significant disputes involving trade secrets, restrictive covenants, employment matters, trade secrets, and business torts, achieving notable trial victories and settlements for clients in Texas and across the country.
Munck is MWM’s global managing partner. He is a nationally recognized lawyer with more than 30 years of experience counseling clients on offensive and defensive IP strategies and litigating complex technology disputes. He chairs MWM’s intellectual property and AI/machine learning practices and has extensive experience handling matters involving patents, software, hardware, private equity, defense, and life sciences. His technical background includes computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, and system architecture.
Wilson chairs MWM’s patent litigation practice. He represents clients in patent and IP litigation in federal courts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Wilson is known for leading teams that win critical “bet-the-company” litigation disputes on behalf of his clients. His practice focuses on developing litigation strategies for technically complex cases where the outcome can have significant implications for a company’s technology, products, and market position.
