Munck Wilson Mandala is pleased to announce that David M. Doyle, managing partner of the firm’s North Dallas office and a senior partner in the intellectual property practice, has joined the MWM executive committee. Doyle succeeds Rob McCutcheon, an esteemed senior IP partner who has transitioned to executive committee member emeritus after years of dedicated service.

A seasoned intellectual property attorney, Doyle has over 25 years of experience counseling clients on high-tech innovations across industries such as aerospace and defense, telecommunications, semiconductors, computing, cybersecurity, and fintech. His expertise spans patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in semiconductor devices, computer hardware and software, process control systems, military and defense technology, telecommunications networks, and artificial intelligence.

“David has been an integral leader in our intellectual property practice, offering invaluable counsel to clients and helping shape our law firm’s success”, said global managing partner, William A. Munck.

In addition to his new role, Doyle continues to lead the North Dallas office, which recently opened in Granite Park 3 in Plano. Strategically positioned at the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway, the office expands MWM’s presence in North Texas’ rapidly growing business hub, serving clients near The Star in Frisco and surrounding innovation corridors from North Dallas to Prosper to Sherman, Texas.

“David’s deep expertise in intellectual property and his leadership of our North Dallas office make him an outstanding addition to our executive committee”, said patent litigation chair, Michael C. Wilson.
