Luke Dombroski is an associate in MWM’s award-winning litigation group. Luke attended the University of Texas School of Law where he was selected as a Staff Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and was a participant in the 2022 Thad T. Hutcheson Moot Court Competition.

During law school, Luke gained hands-on litigation experience with the Broward State Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, and as an Attorney Ad Litem in the Children’s Rights Clinic. These experiences provided him with valuable practice on drafting substantive and procedural motions, managing discovery, interviewing and preparing witnesses, and arguing motions and hearings. He draws on these skills to effectively advocate for clients in a wide variety of complex commercial and intellectual property litigation matters, including issues arising from patent litigation, copyright litigation, trade secret misappropriation, tortious interference, and unfair competition.

  • Defending a leading airline in patent litigation involving over ten asserted patents;
  • Representing a leading security services company in multi-million-dollar litigation involving claims of trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and civil conspiracy;
  • Defending a technology company in a potential multi-million-dollar class action lawsuit; obtained a successful ruling on a motion to compel arbitration involving a unique arbitration agreement;
  • Representing voice actors and publishers in a novel copyright and personality rights lawsuit against a leading artificial intelligence company.
