ANDA and Hatch-Waxman Litigation. Quintin has directed patent enforcement actions under the Hatch-Waxman framework that have safeguarded brand exclusivity across major pharmaceutical portfolios. He spearheaded the reversal of a non-infringement verdict in ANDA litigation and obtained a second-ever injunction in Hatch-Waxman jurisprudence against a generic company that had won at trial and launched at risk, ultimately negotiating a long-term settlement protecting over $200 million in sales. He managed ANDA cases through judgment at trial, affirmation on appeal, and permanent injunction, protecting over $1 billion in sales. His settlement work on ANDA patent litigations has preserved combined brand exclusivity valued at well over $2 billion across products including EPIDUO, EPIDUO FORTE, DIFFERIN, METROGEL, CLOBEX, and VECTICAL.
Inter Partes Review (IPR) Proceedings. Quintin has achieved landmark results before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He coordinated the first-ever pharmaceutical company victory in an IPR proceeding and secured non-institution decisions on multiple petitions challenging key product patents.
505(b)(2) and Biologic Product Disputes. Quintin’s practice extends to patent enforcement against 505(b)(2) applicants and diligence on biologic product acquisitions. He oversaw patent litigation through trial judgment, appeal, and permanent injunction against a 505(b)(2) product, and negotiated a creative settlement involving product purchase for $15 million versus competitive market entry.
International IP Disputes. Quintin’s patent litigation management extends to international forums, including directing favorable rulings in Canada Federal Court on PMPRB disputes involving pharmaceutical patents and presenting US and Canadian litigation and IP disputes for bidders in major asset sales.

Beyond individual case management, Quintin provides the strategic perspective of a senior legal leader who has served as ad interim Global Head of Patents managing international prosecution teams, directed IP due diligence for transactions exceeding $6 billion, and developed comprehensive IP enforcement strategies across product portfolios spanning dermatology, injectable fillers, biomaterials, and consumer products.
