David Doyle is a partner in the intellectual property group. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has more than 23 years of experience counseling companies in the identification and protection of their intellectual property assets. David prepares and prosecutes patents in a variety of high-tech areas, including semiconductor devices hardware and software for computer and other data processing systems, process control systems, military and defense systems, and landline and wireless telecommunications systems. Prior to his legal career, David worked as a test programmer for a telecommunications company.
David’s extensive experience includes patent preparation, prosecution, appeals, enforcement, and defense; long-range strategies for domestic and international patent procurement and portfolio management; licensing; patentability, infringement, and validity; and third-party reexamination proceedings and IPRs.
